Grand Rapids, MI - Global Force Productions, an International production company, based in Lowell, Michigan, has signed two talented local Producer/Directors to add some magical touches to an already compelling new approach to a 3D animated/live-action short film.

Another locally known talented singer/songwriter and producer of his band's CD's, Brad Self, of Igby Iris, is now under retainer to Global Force writing the entire musical score and sound effects tracks. Brad said, "It has always been my dream to write and produce musical scores for all genres of films. This is a great opportunity for me to realize my dream." Mr. Self writes and performs all his band's music in the studio (except he prefers keyboardist, Red Dykhouse, to accompany him) as can be heard with their latest CD, "And the Search for What It Was" on the Opium Records label. Randy Bassin, President of Global Force Productions who is also the Executive Producer/Screenwriter of this film said, "Brad is a very talented musical storyteller and his contribution to this film is one of the keys to its success."

With over 500 minutes of high definition live-action film 'in the can', this new production now entitled,"Another Night at the Office", is currently entering into its animation production phase as Global Force's 3D Artists perform the pain-staking effort of bringing new meaning to some otherwise mundane, inanimate objects in a live action environment. While Global Force is being tight-lipped about the film's script, they have hinted about a few of its very interesting characters including a paranoid desk lamp, an over-zealous ink pen, and a quite unusual crayon-girl with attitude.

Bassin has told us to keep an eye on many of the 2009 local and international film festivals for this unique production.
